I disagree with the quotation above due to, I think, Literature is much more than what is mentioned there. It is true that writers play an important role in literature but, what about readers?
According to the different feelings, thoughts, experiences, etc. that, as writers as readers and every human being in the world have had is their unique way of seeing and face things. Past experiences feed our spirit to become ourselves in what we are in the present.
As a result, people as such are subjective and, therefore, their way of appreciating things too.
Finally, don’t forget that every person is a universe by itself which no you neither I will never know.
